Network Admin & URL Issues.
-
OK, long long long story short, my bog with multi site on was running perfect for ages, I then hit a slow admin problem which could not be solved so I deleted my site and all blogs, and files, and did a clean install of wordpress.
I then set about importing my old blog data, it was then I noticed that a plugin or so I thought was preventing network/ from showing up, removed the plugin and it came back for a while, its now gone again and iv not installed anything since.
all of that on top of smething wiered with my domain , https://www.cruel-gaming.com works. but I had probelems with https://cruel-gaming.com I sorta got that fixed but every now and then an admin page wont work and when I check the url it looks like this https://www.dev.cruel-gaming.com dev being one of my blogs.
I can live with the annoying url issue. but not being able to access network is killing me, I get a page error that reads
The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I deactivated ALL plugins and it still does it, I need some help here the last few weeks have been the worst experiance I have ever had with a CMS and iv used a lot of them. what makes it worse is that when its working smooth wordpress is the best one iv seen, I just need some help getting to the bottom of these issues.
Could some one while I am at it, show me what a DEFAULT multisite .htaccess file should look like because mine has gotten all messed up through me tweaking it and I forgot to backup the original.
