Network comments

  • So, i’ve been searching for days now,if not weeks.
    On my main site i want to import all posts and comments from all sites in the network.
    For posts, i’ve used “network latest posts” and it works great, it shows all latest posts in the main content area. Now for all recent comments, i dont see any options within the program.I tried “diamond multisite widgets” , but it doesnt work. I searched extensively and the only other thing i find, is code, a lot of code, a little to much for me at the moment, i’m dissappointed to say.
    So i REALY HOPE that somebody can help me….

    All i want is a way to get all comments from all sites in the multisite, and place them on the right content area in twentyfourteen, as a widget or maybe shortcode.

    Diamond Multisite widgets advertises it does what you want so I am sorry to hear that doesn’t work for you. I don’t know of another free option but there is a paid option:

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for the response.
    Diamond Multisite widgets Gives errors from the moment its installed, i don’t think its compatible with the latest wp ms install.
    wpmudev looks great, but i am not going to pay.
    After all, wordpress is an open source FREE CMS.

    Anyone else got some ideas maybe? Code is also okay, if it is clear where to put it! These are the dots on the i’s for my site and i would be dissappointed if i had to change the concept.

    I totally understand your position. For me, if I want truly premium products that are guaranteed to work and be supported within 24 hour timeframe, I pay the price ?? Good luck!

    I know what you mean, but as an unemployed webstarter, its a lot of money for just one feature.
    But thanks anyways, i will post back if i find something.
    And i WILL find something.
