Network Icon Shows as Square

I’m having an issues on a couple of my GeneratePress sites with the Social Icon plugin.

For some reason when you first load the site or at random times the icons don’t show and all I see is squares or some people have reported other symbols.

I’m not sure what the cause is.

Any help? Ideas? Suggestions?
