"Network is unreachable" error

Starting yesterday (3/2/2014) at 2:58:54 pm ET, my (free) WordFence automated scans resulted in the above-captioned error.
The full activity log message was:
Scan terminated with error: We received an error response when trying to contact the Wordfence scanning servers. The HTTP status code was [0] and the curl error number was [7] and the error from CURL was: Failed to connect to 69.46.36.8: Network is unreachable.
I tried two manual scans this morning (3/3/2014, at 7:54 am ET and 7:55 am ET, and both resulted in the same error.
