Network sites won't Post on main page

I am working on developing a network of sites and when went to post to the network sites the post would not show and I get a 404 Error: Not Found on my home page. I have my page setting to recent post and my posts are able to be viewed but they will not post on my home page…

I followed the direction in setting up my network as suggested by wordpress network setup.
