• This is what I have sent to NS with no resolve as of yet… SOrry it ias a bit long but I am so frustrated with NS.

Re- Service Request 1-448535487 – Request for High level supervisor.

This has nothing to do with the open source vendor or wordpress, it has to do with the fact that you (NS) are redirecting my site though your 3rd level URL. – Please elevate this to someone that solve this problem. I am getting very tired of your form letter replies and spending countless hours on hold for support. I know other people that have several blogs on hosting sites with no problem. They create a directory / Database and point to their URL and it works fine, but not with Network Solutions.

I have been on support with your staff and have:

? Created the Blog using NS account manager and left your default Site and Home as https://www.xxxx.netsolhost.com and it worked fine but then was redirected after paging past the first page. This will hurt SEO and any branding I have for my site.

? Created the Blog using NS account manager and put my URL Site and Home as https://www.oceanbayservices/oceanblog or https://www.northeastliving.com/northeastblog during installation and on both occasions it corrupted the theme and I could not get into the admin page.

? Created the Blog using NS account manager and left your default Site and Home as https://www.xxxx.netsolhost.com and it worked fine but then was redirected after paging past the first page. I then changed it on the dashboard. It corrupted the theme and I could not get into the admin page. I had to go into MY SQL to change it back.

? I contacted support again and was told that the problem could be because I have my main site on /HTDOCs which is the Northeastviews.com and could be confusing the directory pointers. I was advised by your staff to then try creating my blog manually which I did and your MYSQL software automatically put in the XXX.netsolhost.com when I change it in the SQL side or the dashboard side it then corrupted the theme and I could not get into the admin page.

? I purchased the unlimited hosting site and 5 domains from NS and want to use them and the service promised to me. I should be able to create a database in MYSQL and load a self contained directory into HTDOCS and point to the directory using my URL and not have it redirected by NS.

Since last Thursday I have been on several Support calls and have received conflicting information. I have now two blogs created, one using account manager and one that I manually created. In both cases after my first page is viewed a visitor is re-directed using https://02d5a6c.netsolhost.com this is unacceptable. I was told that if I use your account manager this was the default, but if I create my blog using my own URL as the default I would see https://www.oceanbayservices/oceanbayblog and not your third level URL. Are you saying that if anyone customer as more that one Blog / URL on NS solutions they can’t have their own URL shown during paging though a website or Blog ?

When creating a WordPress blog using Network Solutions Open Source library I had problems when I changed the default URL https://02d5a6c.netsolhost.com to one of my domain URL’s during the install. After the install when I went to the home page, it was out of format, and I could not log back into the admin page.

I contacted NS support, and was advised since I was using the NS Open Source to create my blog, I should use the default URL. I was not happy with this since I want my visitors / customers to see my URL not https://02d5a6c.netsolhost.com/oceanbayblog. When I reinstalled the WP blog using the default setting it worked fine. But after navigating from the first page to a category or other pages it the go redirected to the NS default URL.

After contacting support again, I was told that if I load my own Website or Blog manually and create the MY SQL database manually, I could use my preferred URL I.e. https://www.oceanbayservices/oceanbayblog. This also did not work, when I recreated the Blog it automatically put in the third level NS URL. I contacted support again and after now three attempts and about 2 hours of hold time, I was told that I could change the URL on my general settings page. I did this and it now corrupted my theme and I could not get back into my admin page to change it.

I reloaded WordPress again and now need support on so I can retain my URL while paging though my site. I cannot believe that other customers that are using your hosting site for multiple websites/bogs need to have your URL redirected after the initial first page load. I wish to create multiple blogs and do not want to contact support each time.
