• I just finished setting up the multi-sites option, though I admit I can’t figure out how to edit .htaccess

Anyway…I get a broken link error when going to a networked site. Is this due to not properly configuring htaccess?

I couldn’t find the htaccess file in the directory so I created one and pasted the code wordpress gave me and started getting fatal errors so had to delete it.

How can I easily edit htaccess?

  • What i did for the .htpaccess file was this. I deleted it and then using notepad I copied and pasted the code wp3 gave me in to notepad. I then saved it as .htpaccess. Make use it does not have .txt or any thing behind it. Then upload said file to the wp3 directory.

    Hope that helps you.
