NetxGEN 2.1 to NextCellent, importing images ok, can I unistall NextGEN now?

    I switched to NextCellent having NextGEN plugin (2.1) installed, so I followed the FAQ not to loose my pictures/album/galleries:

    ?Be sure NextGEN is deactivated
    ?MANUALLY remove NextGEN plugin folder(usually NextGEN-gallery) . DO NOT use traditional WordPress uninstall procedure. Remember: if you run the uninstall procedure you are wipping out your images/galleries(!)
    ?Activate NextCellent (if it was deactivated)
    ?That’s all

    All pictures/album/galleries were correctly recognized.
    Now I ask: in the plugin page I still see the NextGEN plugin voice. Should I leave it there, unactivated? Or can I now safely use the unistall procedure?
