Neve Mobile menu is not accessible with screen reader

  • Hello,
    The Neve mobile menu is not completely accessible with screen reader. The menu button label is not meaningful, when I expand, it doesn’t say expanded, soon after it expands, I need to swipe couple of times to reach the menu. Before I reach the menu, I see search link & another button to close the menu, I guess. This button is not labelled, the search link expands search filed but it is not marked as button & expand/collapse state is not provided.

    We are through most of our development & we don’t want to go back changing the theme, can you suggest or a fix or fix the menu in the theme so we can get the fix through an update?

    Our focus is to get a WCAG 2.1 compliant site & we believe NEVE can help us get there.

    Hi @tarkham,

    The reported problem was addressed in Neve 3.0.4. The mobile menu should work properly with a screen reader after updating the theme to the latest version which is 3.0.6. Can you please confirm if it works as expected?
