Neve Mobile Menu Not Working

    I installed Neve last week to make my website more mobile friendly, and at first, it worked great. However, I looked at my mobile site today, and the menu is now blank. I have set the colors, correct menu, adjusted width, etc. But whenever I click the hamburger icon, the menu slider is completely blank. The only thing that “clicks” is an invisible square block that just reloads the home page. On my blog page, the hamburger icon doesn’t even pull out the menu anymore. Help!

    I checked your site, but I don’t see a hamburger menu – screenshot. The menu that appears on your site on mobile is the secondary menu.

    Hi @luciamarinescu. Yes, no one was responding so I removed the Hamburger and chose a more unsightly but usable option. I added it directly to the header so people could at least navigate my website in the meantime. If I switch it back, can you help me analyze the issue?

    Yes, we can help with investigating the functionality of the hamburger menu if you add it back. In the meantime, I noticed some JavaScript errors in the browser console while checking your website(screenshot). I recommend contacting your hosting provider to fix them, as it might interfere with the functionality of the hamburger menu.

    I’m facing a similar problem with the Neve mobile menu (hamburger) but in my situation, the mobile menu simply doesn’t works. I tried a lot of solutions I researched on the web but nothing is working so far…

    The solutions I tried are:

    • Updated the Neve theme to the latest version;
    • Disable/Enable all the installed plugins;
    • Changed the PHP version;
    • Disable/Enable the child theme;
    • Clean the plugin cache and etc…

    I updated the Neve theme to the version 3.5.8 and the mobile menu back to work again. Thank you very much for the support.

    @stefancotitosu I reached out to my developer about the JavaScript, but I’m not sure if they fixed it yet. They said they’d email me back. I returned the menu back to the hamburger, and it’s still showing up blank. The hamburger icon appears and the menu box pops out, but it’s just white with nothing to click on.

    I can see the errors are still there; you can check them by right-clicking on your website, Inspect Element -> Console tab(https://vertis.d.pr/i/IF5BFR).

    You can follow the steps recommended in this article to find out if a plugin conflict is causing the hamburger menu to not work. If that’s it, please share it with us so we can investigate it and report it to the developers.
