neve template video doesn’t play with AMP plugin

I have tried to replicate this scenario on a test instance but I have no issues on my side, thus I’m thinking it might be a problem with how your environment is setup.

Please try and deactivate all plugins and see if the issue persists, then start activating them one by one whilst checking for the issue until you find the culprit.

Also, I have checked your website and for me, the video plays well thus I would also suggest purging all cache (browser, plugins, server) and see if the issue is still there.

The AMP plugin is the culprit, when disabled it works fine, when reenabled the problem returns.

I am glad to hear you found the culprit. Although AMP is supported by Neve some of the functions will not work as expected as AMP tries to minimize CSS and JS as much as possible. Here is our documentation on AMP support for Neve.

You could try and enable the Transitional Setting in AMP instead of the first option and see if that fixes the issue so that you can use both AMP and Neve.

However, if that is not the case, then we would suggest choosing another optimization plugin like Autoptimize for example.

ok i will try to enable the Transitional Setting, thanx. in any case, i might switch the video embed manner in order to resolve the problem.
