  • Hi @uvigomotorsport,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

    One easy way to achieve this would be by using the Video block which has an Autoplay toggle that allows you to enable that feature.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi @luciamarinescu,

    That solution does not work for us. When we try to embed a YouTube URL into the Video Block, automatically becomes a YouTube Block. Also, it not shows the autoplay option.

    Hi there @uvigomotorsport,

    Sure thing! You can achieve the mentioned behavior by utilizing the Custom HTML block. Regarding the video you’ve shared, here’s the relevant HTML code:

    <iframe width="420" height="315"
    src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5UKh50zFtks?autoplay=1&mute=1&start=8050">
    </iframe>

    To control the alignment, background and other things, you can use the section block and insert HTML inside – https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1833-the-section-block-otter-blocks-library.

    Let me know if this helps!

    Hi @andreearadacina21,

    The plugin that you share only adds a section tag, is the same without it. The problem now is autosizing.

    Hi @uvigomotorsport,

    To make the embedded video Autoplay, you need to download and upload it to your Media Library, then use the Video block from the WordPress core. This way, the block won’t convert automatically to YouTube, it will stay as Video and you will see the option to Autoplay in the right sidebar of the page.

    By embedding the video directly from the YouTube URL, Autoplay won’t work and the block gets converted to YouTube. This behavior is not related to the Neve theme, as it’s the same behavior with the Twenty Twenty-Three theme.

    Regards,
    Stefan
