Never again. Going back to sftp and scripts.

  • I tried to give doing things the easy way a chance. Looks like marketing and management got their evil way again.

    Dashboard says backups are “live” and current backup was early this morning. Not exactly sure how that happened since I haven’t entered any sftp credentials, not to mention MariaDB credentials. Not sure why 1and1 bought into bundling this crap with their hosting package.

    The SFTP credentials are not needed to perform a backup. They would only be needed if you had to run a restore. I can confirm the backups are working on your site and everything looks great. What problems have you run into?
