Never Ending Scan

    Hi I have noticed reently that all the scans that WordFence do, do not seem to end. I have it set to scan every 2 days early in the morning and beforehand it would take its time to do the scan but NOW it scans the files but is constanly scanning and never finishing. I have attached a screenshot linkg. This is causing my site to have its I/O constantly high.

    As you can see in the image that it stared (Sydney Time) just before 5am and its now just before 10am here.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Hi,
    To have a better idea about what is going on during the scan, please choose “Enable debugging mode” option under (Wordfence > Diagnostics => Debugging Options) then run a new scan and check any errors in the “Activity Log”.

    You could also check this guide regarding the common reasons causing “scans don’t finish issue“.

    P.S. Are you using any caching plugin? if yes, which one?
