• Hi there,

Been dealing with this for months, so I thought I’d finally ask for some support.

Long story short: the only way/time this plugin EVER updates to display current Facebook feeds, is after I go into my WordPress admin, open the page that the plugin shortcode is placed in, and then press “Update”. It has never updated to display a current feed on its own, so obviously I must be missing something here. And no, I have no cacheing enabled and have tried viewing the site on different computers & browsers with fresh caches.

Any help or advice on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello!

That’s super bizarre! You are, of course, the first person to report this behavior – maybe other people will chime in now that the thread is started.

I know you say you have no caching enabled, however this definitely sounds like a caching issue – it doesn’t make sense that clicking Update on the actual page would clear it, otherwise.

Can you let me know what theme and plugins you are using? Can you also let me know where your website is and where the feeds are on the website?

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi there,

Thanks very much for the reply. The theme I’m using is a customized version of “minimatica”, and the only plugins I’m using are IK Facebook and a Mailchimp sign-up form. No caching options being used for the site OR the back-end hosting.

The client’s site is “www.artworksbyjyne.com”, and the plugin is on the News/Updates page. She has posted 3-4 new updates in the past couple of days on FB, but the site feed is showing June 20th at the latest one.

Like I said, maybe I just missed something in the IK documentation…?

Thanks again, and I look forward to your follow-up. Cheers for now.
