    Their pricing plans have a limit on the number of unique domains that can be used for a subscription. For example, the Essential Plan can only transfer 5 unique domains. However, the limit of 5 unique domains will not be reset after the license auto-renews, even though the annual auto-renewal price is actually equal to purchasing a new license every year.

    If you want to continue using this plugin, purchase a new license instead of auto-renewing the old one. You will have 5 unique domains to transfer at the same price.

    They love new users but hate old users.

    When you transfer licenses between subsites under the same domain, they deduct the number of unique domains, even if the subsites are of this type: //your.unique.domain/subisite .

    They merely will not count these types of license transfers towards your number of unique domains: //subisite.unique.domain/.

    Even if the same unique domain is used for both of the above subsites.

    Hello Jim,

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts and bringing up these important points. We understand your frustration regarding the domain transfer limits and how they apply to our pricing plans.

    The limits on the number of unique domains that can be transferred under each plan, including after renewal, are part of our policy designed to maintain fairness and manage resources effectively. While we do not reset the unique domain transfer limit upon renewal, the plan continues to offer all the other benefits and features that come with your Elementor subscription.

    We appreciate your feedback on how this impacts long-term users, and it’s valuable for us to hear where our customers feel changes could improve their experience.

    If you’re finding that your current plan is no longer meeting your needs due to these limitations, we recommend reviewing our other plans that might offer a better fit for your situation.

    Thank you again for your feedback, and for being a part of the Elementor community. We truly value our long-term users, and we’re here to help if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

    Best regards,

    Please answer the questions:

    Based on the fact that the cost of auto-renewal is equal to the cost of purchasing a new license, why do older users who use auto-renewal get less benefit compared to those who purchase a new license? For these older users, the number of unique domains available is reduced.

    When users pay the same price, they should get the same benefits.

    This is the paradox of your site policy.

    Do both types of sub-sites are under the same unique domain?

    //your.unique.domain/subisite

    //subisite.unique.domain/

    As you must be aware, most of the development and testing needs to be implemented on subsites, and users could use any of the above-mentioned types of subsites. Why is it allowed to use one type of subsite without counting domain transfers while the other type of subsite is counted as a transfer to a new domain?
