I have to hack the wordpress core code to make the admin menu sort the menu and submenu diferently.
Let me show to you, for better understanding:

    See:

the 2 files that are responsable to generate the admin menu and submenu are at:

    wp-admin/menu.php
    wp-admin/menu-header.php

I changed the 2o file, but the submenu’s appear under “dashboard” tab only…
this happen’s because I’m not pro in PHP off course…
I need help like I said.. if someone could help me,
I want to finish to distribute for free when I finish the admin theme…

I’m an experienced PHP developer, but new to WordPress and haven’t spent anytime with the core. You might have better luck getting help from those who are if you provide more details on what you’re trying to do and where things have gone wrong.

    humm,
things went wrong because I don’t know the right place to hack the code, because I’m not PHP PRO, I work with css and XHTML, but PHP it’s just the basics…

thanks anyway man, but in this case,
it’s necessary know the core code…
    ??

    giovannimcosta,

have you considered sorting the menu items using javascript? i have sorted a list that way before, and it worked well (not in wordpress, but in another site). it wouldn’t require you to hack the php code, only frontend stuff.
