• Hi and thanks in advance.

First I want to say thank you for a great plugin solution for security. I’ve only been using for about a week and it took care of brute force attacks I was suffering immediately.

I have noticed a couple of things though. I’ll address them in separate threads.

    Topic One Disable Image Linking

The way my site is set up is this:

    – HOST
    — WWW
    — My site root (Domain 1)
    — wordpress instal
    — files
    — images
    — Domain 2 (different site root with wordpress install)
    — Domain 3 (different domain root html based)

Domain one is the only site that I currently have AIOSFP installed and working. I enabled no hotlink of images.

Problem: When one visits domain 1 everything loads fine. when one visits domain 2 and 3 sites will load fine but WITHOUT images.

After struggling and thinking some damage by script kiddies I turned off image hotlink. RESULT : Images OK across all sites.

    Questions:

    1. Is there a simple workaround for this?
    2. Do I need to reorganize the site and put the Domain one into a separate directory?
    3. Are there other problems that will occur if I install AIOSFP in Domain 2 wordpress installation (different directory structure)?

    Thanks again for your work

  • Thank you for this very nice plugin – I really do like it, but I’ve got the same problem (and the same questions!) for a group of domains hosted in separate folders on a Godaddy shared hosting account.

    Domain 1 is hosted in the site root with a WordPress MU install;
this is the domain where the AIOSFP plugin is installed.

Domains 2,3 and 4 are hosted in sub-folders; they have their own separate WordPress install and the images on these sites appear OK!

The *other* domains are static html-sites without WordPress.
Only these sites have their images blocked when the AIOSFP hotlink-option is active.

Please advise if there is a workaround…
