New blog and upgrades not working

Two blogs I’ve recently upgraded to 3.0 have had massive problems and another I’ve tried to set up as a brand new install has failed miserably and I can’t figure out what is happening.

I’m using cpanel 11.25 and php 5.2.9.

The new site I installed is https://family.thomases.org – it shows completely blank. If I login to the wp-admin it comes up with stuff like this:

The same has happened for a blog I upgraded at https://teamsally.thomases.org which is on the same server and domain.

Another blog I upgraded is on a different server and domain but I also had major problems with that and had to muck around a lot to get it working.

Are there known problems with 3.0? The hosts I use only have that version currently available for use.
