new blogger ID not accepted

  • I recently upgraded to Blogger’s new version, which required me to use my Google ID as my new log-in, but wordpress will not accept the new ID or the old one, when I try to import my blogger posts to me WP blog.

    any ideas?

  • That “New” blogger is the same as what was Blogger Beta, which doesn’t work with the WordPress import. Search through this forum for other problems with “Blogger Beta” and you will find a lot of people with the same problem and some solutions.

    Many people are trying to find a way to import posts from their New Blogger account to WordPress. Since Blogger switched over to work with Google, the standard WordPress core files can no longer import from the new Blogger accounts, which has forced thousands of Blogger users to limit themselves to switching over to WordPress.

    I finally found a way to import the New Blogger data. Works great, thank goodness, as thousands of posts could have been lost witout this great plugin.
