“NEW: Bulk Smush images in the background! ” won’t go away

    Hi – the new popup message on bulk smush ” NEW: Bulk Smush images in the background! ” won’t go away, no matter what I do. It also stops me from viewing options lower down on the menu for the admin area. I have to click on another option to get away from it. Just fyi.

    Sorry to hear about that; however, I gave a quick test on my server but couldn’t replicate the issue.

    We have noticed that cache enabled on the server side might be one of the common reasons for such behaviour.

    Do you have an Object Cache enabled on your server? Could you please try clearing the server-side cache and then check whether you are able to notice a similar issue?

    You might have to get in touch with your Hosting provider if you aren’t sure about if there is a cache enabled or not.

    Our developers made multiple test and we were able to replicate the issue. There is no fix at the moment, apart from rollback plugin to previous version, but our developers are working on that.

    I am seeing this issue as well. Happened after update to 3.12.4. I click ok and it just pops back up.

    I got same issue. All cache cleared – STILL can’t access the SMUSH dashboard as cannot clear the dam pop-up!!

    I note that this issue is marked as “resolved”? hahaha, Rollback is hardly a resolution!
