New Changes to Etsy API

This is on the app creation page on etsy. Is it relevant?

In February 2017 new tools will be provided to sellers to allow them to manage their inventory more effectively. Some listings created using these new tools will not be able to be edited using the API due to unavoidable backwards incompatibilities.

To address this, we’ve created some new endpoints that should be used on all listings. If your app needs to create or edit listings (i.e. if you’re requesting the listings_w scope) then you should verify that your app works with these new endpoints, and then check the box below. Apps requesting listings_w scope that do not have this checked will show a warning message to sellers that there may be issues using your app, as well as some additional background information.
