New classified ads do not show on classifieds page

    We had an issue with new ads getting a 404 error, but that was resolved by publishing the show ad page.

    However, new ads are not showing on the classified page or by selecting the category for the ad. Is there some setting I am missing here or something else to troubleshoot. The last ad showing is from 2020 and we have a few new ones that should be there.

    Thank you for reaching out about this. I’m Garret from the customer success team and I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!

    Could you try to reset your Permalinks? In WordPress, go to Settings > Permalinks, then press save changes (don’t make any changes) and see if that helps.

    Hi Garret,

    Thanks for your fast reply. I did already do that while I was resolving the 404 error, that is not the issue as I can now view the single classified ad here for example: https://www.yossilinks.com/classifieds/show-ad/21716/israel-bonds-is-hiring-operations-administrative-associate-vancouver/jobs-volunteer/

    I see now that it is showing on the classifieds page, but for some reason it is at the very end of all the pages even though it appears that all the other old ads are showing the most recent ones first, except for this one that was just published.

    How do I get it showing this new ones and all future new ones at the top?

    Thanks for those details.

    I do notice a few of the ads seem to be out of order based on the dates on a few pages. Can you confirm that you have the ad order set to Dates (newest first)? You can check this by going to Classified Ads > Settings > Display and locating the Order Ad Listings by option.

    Hi Garret,

    Yes it is set to Date – Newest First for both ad listings and search results but this is not how it is displaying.

    Is there a way to reset the order or something?

    I have since been able to replicate this issue on our test sites and have added it to our bug list to fix for a future release. There definitely seems like a bug with our sorting here.
