New content email notifications

    Does the plugin include the ability to notify members of new content? We need an announcements forum and members need to get notified of all new announcements via email.

    Hello @echoleaf

    Asgaros Forum has a subscription-functionality which can be used to subscribe to specific forums/topics. This feature is opt-in only which means that users explicitly need to subscribe before they recieve notifications.

    The functionality has to work like this to fulfill certain laws in regards to data-privacy and the protection against unwanted messages.
