New content type not displaying comments, option is enabled on this content type

    Comments are enabled but not displayed on a new content type, can you tell me if there is anything to do on your great theme to display the comments and comment form on a new content type ?

    Comments display correctly on standard content types as Posts and Pages.

    I’m actually not able to reproduce your issue.
    Comment form and comment list are correctly displayed in the custom post type I created.

    This new content type was created automatically during a content import, by using Toolset Types plugin. In Toolset type plugin, comments are enabled for the new content type created.

    After checking again I found that in your theme settings GLOBAL / COMMENTS
    the comments where enabled for PAGES but not for POSTS.

    So I have enabled them, and now I can see comments for the new content type !
    It seems that comments should be enabled for posts in your theme settings if we want to see comments on new content types.

    Yes custom post types reacts to the “posts” comments settings.
