Thanks a lot for this unique plugin.
    I enjoy testing it but…
For now, I create 1 course with 1 chapter and 3 modules.
But at this point, when I create one more course, chapter or module… It disappears when I click on the “save” button!!
    Why?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for the account fxgo. I just took a quick look and something seems indeed to be wrong. I’ll try to reconstruct your issue on our development environment and get back in touch with you. From what I can see the items are actually created but because they’re not present when the tree is saved again they’re treated as deleted and get removed from the tree during the save process.

I’ll get back to you with a solution!

So, we looked into this and it looks like you’re running MySQL server version 5.5 while WordPress recommends 5.6. We have actually had issues previously with this outdated version. We recommend you get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them if it is possible to update your MySQL version.
We will add a compatibility notice for outdated versions in a future updated. We’ll also try to identify the root cause of the issue with this MySQL version but I can’t promise that we’ll get it to work with this version.

    Thanks to you.
I’ll upgrade the MySQL version and we will see.

    Hello Cluevo Team,
    Thanks for your support.
The MySQL version is now upgraded to 5.6..
and the problem is still there.
Would you please have another track?

    Hi fxgo,

I just took another look and it looks like your MySQL server version ist still 5.5. There is a plugin running that displays the server version in the footer of your admin area. It says MySQL: 5.5.30 for me.

I’m really sorry I can’t be of more help. But I have already implemented a warning for out of date versions for the next release and I’ll try to come up with another solution for your problem. Can’t promise anything though, as 5.5 is a really old version and really shouldn’t be in use anymore as it can lead to serious security issues.

    Hi fxgo,

I’m going to mark this as closed for now, if the issue persists with an updated MySQL server version feel free to open another issue.

    Greetings,

    the CLUEVO team.
