    Hello,

Thanks for creating an excellent product! I just left you a 5-star review. ??

I need some help adding a Custom User Profile Tab to your Elementor “Content” widget. My custom tab is a “Booking” tab, that holds a dynamic link for the teacher whose profile you are viewing. I.e. Go on Teacher Tom’s profile –> See Teacher Tom’s booking calendar (which is linked to their Acuity calendar).

I achieved this with these two plugins:

    1. “User Tabs Creator Pro” (BuddyDev) – to create a simple “Booking” profile tab.

    2. “Create Dynamic User Profile Tabs” (BuddyDev) – to show you this specific user’s specific calendar when you go onto their profile.

To reiterate, this means that you see a teacher’s booking calendar when you go on his page. Then you book them (via iFrame / SAAS software link / Acuity).

    Question:

How can I add this custom “Booking” tab to your Elementor “Content” widget? I want to see the custom Booking tab next to Photos, Timeline, etc. I need everything visible on one page without having to switch tabs.

What can I do to achieve this? ?? ??

Thanks so much for your help!

    Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

With respect to your question here, this is actually a custom integration that involves two third party plugins. The content widget uses the bp_nouveau_nav_items() function to render the navigation items / tabs. In your case here, you would need to create a custom function that would register that navigation tab so that it’s called by the bp_nouveau_nav_items() function. To register the tab, you would need to use the bp_setup_nav() function. I would recommend consulting the User Tabs support team to assist you with this. Integrating the calendar to the tab is something that would involve the Dynamic User Profile Tabs plugin. I would also recommend consulting the plugins support team to assist you with this custom integration.

    I hope this information helps.

    Kind Regards

Thanks for the awesome rating. So now you have a new Profile tab and our Content widget should show it in front-end since we get the default BuddyPress/BuddyBoss functions to render the content.
Maybe you can explain with some screenshots what you want to achieve.

    Thanks
