• I am managing a WooCommerce store and there is a new customer who created an account just last week. Even though she created her account only a week ago, if you go to her My Account page it shows that she has an order processing from June 18, 2015. There is an order number, price, payment method, and customer info (different name, email etc) although there isn’t actually an items listed.

Why does this new client’s account show order info that is almost a year old?

Did you by any chance do some imports on this site from another store/site?

If you did, IDs for old orders from the old system may overlap new user IDs on the new site.

It was cloned from an existing site we’ll they updated their website. When they went live with this updated version of the site it was obviously missing all of the sales from the time they duplicated it till they went live with it. But I didn’t import any of the missing orders because of precisely this type of thing.

I did set up the original site on a subdomain so we could still access this order info. I can check the original database against the cloned version, should I compare them for duplicate user id’s, order #s or anything?

It will be the user ID column – it will have a higher value than the new site. I suggest you bulk update those old orders in the database and set customer_id to 0 so they are guest orders.
