The latest update (4.0.32) with the “improved database structure” is giving me issues. I’ve tried running the required database update on my staging environment but the update never completes even after waiting 2 days. It still says “ARMember database Updation in Progress”. Because of this, I have decided not to run the database update on my production site.

The real issue I’m facing, which may be related to the database issue is when an existing member purchases a new (different) subscription after their old one expires, all of their User Roles are removed from their profile (both “Subscriber” and “ARMember”) and there’s no option to add them back. When I edit their profile to add the user roles back, it just says “No roles available.”

Another issue I noticed: when viewing the “Manage Subscriptions” panel, all fields are incorrect/incomplete. For example, all subscriptions have a start date of “January 1, 1970”; all amounts paid are “0.00”; payment type and membership plan name are not listed, etc.

Are these known issues? Should we expect another update soon? As mentioned, I don’t feel comfortable running the database update on my production site as it’s not yet running properly on my staging site.

    Hello,

I have check multiple time with update plugin process at our local server and there is no issue found. Can you please wait till the update process complete as it may have so many records to update.

Please check accordingly and let me know if there is anything else.

    Thanks

Hi, it is now version 4.0.39, and I’m still getting this issue when I try to do the database update on my staging site. It sits there for weeks and weeks, and never gives any indication that the update is complete.

I don’t feel comfortable running this database update on my live site without first successfully testing it on my staging site.

Could it be because on the staging site, the ARMember license is not activated? Is that why the database update gets stuck and never completes? Do you offer temporary/testing licenses, or is there a way for me to use my license on both my live and staging sites for the purpose of testing?

    Hello,

As you are using the premium version and this forum is for the ARMember Lite related queries therefore due to forum limitations I’ll not be able to assist you here.

    Thanks
