New Donation Email Notification not being received

I have a donation form with an associated email address that is not receiving a notification when there is a new donation.
Is there a way I can track the outbound email from WP Give so I can confirm that the email was indeed sent, or maybe to see that there was an error and it was not sent?
The owner of the email address says she looked in her spam folder and could not find the email notices.
