New Episodes Publishing to Feed, not Distributing

  • Hello,

    This is the first time I am having trouble with SSP. I published 2 new podcast episodes yesterday and today, but they are not appearing in Apple Podcasts nor Spotify, but they are appearing in the RSS feed. This has never happened before and my troubleshooting has come up empty so far.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi @hpsmattila,

    From my end, I don’t see the latest two episodes within the RSS feed. The feed that I see is reflecting a build date of January 1 so they wouldn’t include the latest episodes.

    <lastBuildDate>Sat, 01 Jan 2022 15:00:26 +0000</lastBuildDate>

    This tells me the issue may be related to site caching. I would recommend clearing all of your caches, including object caches, and then change the cache settings to exclude caching the RSS page. You may be seeing the episodes within the feed because you’re logged in and therefore aren’t be presented with the cached version.
