New error in 3.8.2

    When I load /wp-admin/widgets.php in version 3.8.2, I see the following error in my logs:

    [21-May-2022 13:44:23 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined variable $animation in /wp-content/plugins/widget-options/includes/widgets/option-tabs/settings.php on line 263

    It repeated, at least for me, 3,136 times on a single page load.

    Forgot to add that 3.8.2 also has:

    It only has this three times per page load.

    Can you please try the following:
    1. Deactivate and delete the plugin
    2. Purge website cache
    3. Re-install the Widget Options plugin again.
    4. Check if the same warning occurs.

    The error in line 263 produces the most (thousands) of entries.

    However, my website itself runs through Widget Options without any visible errors.

    But of course it’s not a comforting thing when the log is full of errors ?

    Maybe you can find a solution there. Thank you for the effort!
