new error msg everytime run installation script

    I am a complete newbie. It has taken me hours to upload my files to my server (mostly because it kept timing out). I believe I have uploaded all of the wordpress files but everytime I run the installation script in Firefox, I get an error message. The latest is below. If anyone is able to help me I would appreciate it but please don’t assume I know what you know. I am very new at this so detailed explanations would be appreciated.

  • Re’upload ‘/wp-includes/plugin.php’ most likely it was corrupted or forgotten.

    Ajd777, I just tried that and ran the script again but unfortunately got the following error message.

    Just want to say that my host solved the problem of missing files. I think files were not being uploaded during the sftp transfer. I was being disconnected a lot and had to resend files. The host deleted all the files in my public folder and put in the correct wordpress files.
