New events for 2024 do not display. I get 404 not found

    Hi,? I really need help!

Re-saving and flushing permalinks does not work.? I added a test event and got the same issue.

Your site said to add a snippet to functions.php.? I have several files with that name.?

I added it to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/vendor/woocommerce/action-scheduler/functions.php and it did not help.

Which file should it be in?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    1. It looks like there are no 2024 events, which is why the month view is showing past events – https://share.zight.com/ApuPRRxE Could you double-check your events’ end dates and be sure it’s for the current year?
    2. Both the calendar and single event slug are /events. We strongly recommend setting them to be different to avoid conflict. You can change it at Events>>Settings>>Display>>General>>Viewing – https://share.zight.com/7Kunppj8.
    3. I’m not sure if the code you share is an error message or directories. Could you provide more information on that?
    4. Once done, try creating a few future events and check.

    If the problem persists, please share a screenshot or screencast.

I have provided a lot of info on my original thread.  Someone closed it
    thinking my issue was solved.

I have one event for Feb 11, 2024

What you see on my calendar page is my problem! The event exists in the
    Events Calendar but does not display on the  calendar page. 

I have tried adding 2 other test events with 2024 dates and they also
    come up 404 not found if I try to view them.

I also reported that events I add in 2024 show on the event list as
    simply month and day. 2023 and older show complete dates.

The file links I posted refer to my question about adding a snipet per
    instructions on

Try pasting this snippet in your functions.php file. This fixes a unique
    conflict with some plugins/themes. This conflict causes all Single Events
    pages to be silently searching for a media attachment instead of an event.
    Thus you see a generic 404 since the attachment does not usually exist.
