I have created a new page on my Facebook account for a website of an association that is being founded, in addition to a page that is linked to my food blog via Jetpack.

When I select the Jetpack share function in the backend to connect the association’s website with the new Facebook page, I only get the old Facebook page of the food blog as a selection option, not the new page created for the association.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there, @thobie,

Can you share the Facebook page URL so we can take a look? Please keep in mind that our feature won’t work anymore with Facebook personal accounts—just in case the Facebook page you’re trying to connect is a personal account.

I can also see that the Jetpack connection is broken, which could affect the system’s attempt to connect to this new page. Can you go through the following steps to fix this?

    • Check for any security/caching plugins you may have enabled, and try temporarily disabling them to see if it fixes the problem.
    • You may also want to search for any firewall on your server-side that might be blocking the communication with the xmlrpc.php file – your host should be able to help you with that.
    • Ensure our IPs range is fully on the allow list – your host can help you with that too.

Hope that’s all clear! Look forward to your reply and thanks for sorting this out with us!
