New Feature Performance Settings Defer Javascript

    Hello,

    I have a question regarding the “new” performance tab.

    Cache plugins nowadays come with a setting for Defer Javascript, how is this particular Defer Javascript different from the one that already comes with your cache plugin?

    I am just making sure that I am not using the same function in two different places causing problems later on down the line.

    Some people don’t have site-wide cache plugins or performance plugins, or have had issues with them, so we give them the option to at least do things like deferring our own plugin’s JavaScript.

    If you’re already using a site-wide plugin that does stuff like this, you don’t need to turn it on. Either way, your site-wide plugin would most likely have priority and take over, without breaking anything.
