I need help, my current form is asking the basic details like.

Last Name | First Name | Mobile Number | Address

I have integrated my form with Google Sheets, so all the information will be sent there. In Google Sheets, I have a column named

Last Name | First Name | Mobile Number | Address

Here’s the problem now. I forgot to add the Email Address field. So, I added a new field for the Email Address. Therefore, the order of the fields in my form should be as follows.

Last Name | First Name | Mobile Number | Email | Address

But on Google Sheet the order is not right. The email was added to the last column.

Last Name | First Name | Mobile Number | Address | Email

How can I fix the order? Help!

    Hi @bbcatomic,

Hope this message finds you well.

This is the expected behavior, this is to avoid messing with previous fields, Forminator does not edit the Google Sheet to reorder the fields, and when a new field is added no matter the position in the Form it will add it to the last column.

There are a few options to fix this:

    – Edit your Google Sheet and manually move the column to the correct order
    – Create a new Google Sheet by re-adding the integration using a different name
    – Remove all the submissions in the Google Sheet including the field tags

Let us know which solution worked for you.

    Best regards,
    Laura
