Here we go again, folks… I have a form that stopped allowing me to add fields, stopped allowing me to make any settings changes. I’ve gone through these forums and searched on Google, so I’m well aware that others have had this problem. I’ve tried the max_input_vars increase on the php.ini, the htaccess, the functions.php…. nothing is working.

This is so insanely frustrating because the stupid form, which is a long one, is a mere 4 fields away from completion and I’ve just wasted three days trying to find and apply miscellaneous fixes. It’s hosted on GoDaddy’s shared hosting, I bumped it up to PHP 5.4. and the plugin is Version 4.0.30. I have to get this done, like, yesterday, and unless someone comes up with another solution, quick, I have to dump this plugin and start over.

Is there ANYONE who has a suggestion for a fix I haven’t tried?

All the other plugins were already disabled right off the bat when the problem initially surfaced — and I tried switching to the 2014 and 2012 themes too, before I even came here. Of course, I just tried switching again, just hoping for a miracle, but nothing changed. Still getting the same debug report.

Think I should just abandon hope and get a different plugin?

You might have to create a support ticket. @mike Challis will investigate this further.

    Kind regards

I understand your point. It is entirely up to you. Have you tried the following plugin Contact Form 7?

I use Contact Form 7 a lot for other sites, but for this one it has to be easily editable by the client. That’s why I wanted to use this one. It’s a great plugin, I just can’t figure out why it’s being so troublesome when it was working great until i got to the end!

Hi I understand and maybe you need to break the form in two parts. Or create a support ticket. @mike Challis the developer will know what the problem is and help you further.

Well I just discovered that even using another plugin, I’m getting the same problem. It’s a WordPress or hosting issue. Sigh….

Well that in one way is good news because it will help you to determine if it is a WordPress or Server issue.
