New Google search console issue

    Hi there,
    We’re seeing a new GSC issue which only started on Jan 10 2020.

    Getting a “FAQ – Missing field “mainEntity”” error a url in the form:
    mysite.com/FAQ/?include_tag=shipping – which is strange as this isn’t a url we consciously link to.

    “shipping” is indeed a tag we use – but we don’t link directly to the tag anywhere

    Any idea what would be causing this?

    p.s. this page is broken on your site https://www.etoilewebdesign.com/wordpress-plugins/ (which is linked to from within your plugin).

    Hi colmtroy,

    I’m not aware of what would be causing that message. Could you send us a screenshot of the full message in your Search Console? (If you don’t want to share that here, you can email us at [email protected].) That being said, what effect is this having on your site?

    Hey @jaysupport – thanks for the quick reply!
    I’ll send you a screenshot now to your email.
    The impact is that it GSC constantly sends emails saying there’s a problem with out site. We like to keep GSC error free at all costs.

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me in very basic terms as I don’t understand anything about coding or computers for that matter, how to fix FAQ Missing field “mainEntity”. Google search console has identified 8 errors on my website and I’m concerned as I don’t know what I did to get the errors or how to fix them.
