• I’ve created a new plugin for WordPress called ‘Exhibit’ that will display a gallery of thumbnails that link to the original image.
    See it in use: here
    Download the code: here
The announcement on my site: here
There are a variety of methods that can be set for displaying the full image. I have selected the popup for my site, but you can also embed the image in a custom page or in the post itself!
Exhibit can generate thumbnails for you if you have GD installed.
Check out the screenshot on the download page, which shows how the Exhibit interface is embedded into the WordPress post editor.
Exhibit is compatible with the table used by wp-whotos, so if you were using that before, this will retain your data and give you a little more functionality. (If you do this, be sure to use the table name ‘photos’ instead of the default ‘exhibit’.)
    Exhibit is WordPress 1.2 Plugin-compatible.
If you try it, let me know what you think.

  • Hi friends, hello,
I’ve tested Exihibit intensively for 5 days and build it in 2 “prosumerblogs”; one is https://www.gewuerzejournal.de a german journal as business blog about spices. All I can say is, “exhibit” works, fine, full, comfy. For more – or better something other pirposes – I use Coppermine as fotogallery software.
    Thanks for the Exhibit plug-in.

Can’t wait to get a bite of the new version! Hope it will be out of the oven soon ??

The instructions to install Exhibit are in the exhibit10.php file. It will not function properly if you just dump everything into the plugins directory. There are a couple of steps you must take first. READ.
I’m not sure why the ImageJPEG function isn’t working. It’s not giving you any errors when it executes? Weird. Have you tried some other script that calls this function? Maybe your GD version is broken? I’m grasping at straws here.
