• Hi.

I’ve been trying to update the header images and what I thought would be quite a simple process has turned into a farce. I’ve created and uploaded the new header images, referenced them in the header.php file and when I refreshed the browser, they aren’t showing. I’ve been back through my files a thousand times, triple checked the filenames and directories and they are definitely there and correct.

    An example filename is:
    https://www.kaitlin-howard.co.uk/pics/kh_pic_header_2021_2.jpg

and if you load it into the browser you will see it is serving up the old image still. (Actually you wouldn’t know but take my word for it, it’s the old image).

I built this theme myself 5 years ago and I’ve been trying to see if I can clear the image cache on the server maybe but can’t figure it out. Instead I’ve tried clearing my browser cache, loading in different browsers and using incognito but it still serves the same error.

    Any ideas?

Looking at your site, you use kh_theme theme.

Your currently used theme could not be found in the www.ads-software.com/themes/ directory, as far as I can see.

If this was a custom theme, you may have to go back to your developer team and ask them to make the necessary change(s) to the theme.

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. Commercial products are not supported in these forums.
