New Install->Change/remove URL structure of mydomain.com/locations/

In theory this would be a clean install… (I would actually be developing on my local machine, and then importing to live site).
I am going to use my already customize live site,
    copy it,
and “sort of” start out fresh… by deleting all old post, events, locations etc…
Maybe this is just a crazy idea…

But what I am trying to achieve is something like this with Events Manger….
As I already have an existing “entertainment/events” and “entertainment/locations” setup… what I want to use is the great features of EM but
really only the Locations part of the plugin…

    That is…
mydomain.com/entertainment/locations/bobs_greatrestaurant/ would would ideally look like this…
mydomain.com/restaurants/bobsgreatrestaurant/ without the “locations” directory in the URL…

Am I making sense of this to you ? I know I have crazy ideas ??
mydomain.com/entertainment <- wordpress install (original and keeping)
mydmain.com/restaurants <- wordpress install (another install).

Thusly so the URL on the “new” install would look like this without the “locations” in the URL
    mydomain.com/restaurants/bobsgreatrestaurant/

    Thanks again as always.

Im afraid that this is not possible at the moment however you can try settings under Events > Settings > Pages > Permalink Slugs

Thanks. Unfortunately my terminology of the situation lead me to the long post above. When searching a bunch of support messages with the correct terminology “permalinks” I found that it really can’t be done. Apparently it has to do with “taxonomies” from what I read. Mabybe I am wrong about that.
Since I have become quite familiar with this great plugin and what it can do, I think I can live with the “longer” URL, as opposed to learning another plugin.
Thanks again for your support and the great plugin.
