New install prob

  • Hi, I had a Zen Cart site installed on my domain which ran fine until a few months ago when I started to get 404 errors and the site would not show. I have now decided to set up a new one so I have deleted the Zen Cart site and installed WordPress, created a new database etc.. I can access the WordPress dashboard so I’m sure the install has gone ok but I am still getting 404 error on the main site (www.images2000.co.uk)I have contacted my hosting provider and they are pretty sure it’s something I’ve done.
    I’m totally lost now if anyone can please help?

  • I just visited your URL and it shows a default WordPress installation. The top banner isn’t loading for some reason, is this what you are referring to? Where are you seeing a 404 error?

    I have reinstalled and I can see it now but only in firefox, not in windows explorer for some reason?
    and as you say there is no top banner?

    Thats really odd, I’m using Chrome. I would try downloading WordPress again, so you have a fresh copy and re-installing it. You may have had a corrupt download. I hope this helps!
