New Install – Simple text only

    I aim new at this – so I am sure I have made a mistake somwhere

    My Blog can be found at

    the web pages just look like simple text with little formatting.

    the theme is Pixeled 1.9.2

    the Dashboard works well. I used it to auto upgrade the theme to the latest.

    Where should I start to resolve this?

  • either one of the url’s in
    admin – settings
    is not correct
    or the permisssions are wrong on the /wp-content folder – not allowing images

    I am not sure what the URL should be I installed it at Root.

    Wp-content permissions are 0777
    Sub directories
    Plugins permissions are 0766
    themes permissions are 0755
    upgrade permissions are 0766
    Uploads permissions are 0777

    Is there an easy way to remove WordPress so I can reinstall?

    1st be sure both url’s point to
    https://www.baulkolites.com

    the easiest way to re-install is
    1 – drop all tables in databse and run installer again
    or
    2 – change the wp-config.php line
    $table_prefix = 'wp_';
    to some thing else like
    $table_prefix = 'wp1_';

    Many thanks I reloaded Word press and it is now up and going.

    I am not sure what the issue was.
