There is something really wrong with that installation.

This link doesn’t work but should

    https://www.reclaimedreflections.co.uk/readme.html

I think part of the problem is because your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are set incorrectly.

    https://your-wordpress-install-url/wp-admin/options-general.php

    Try setting both values to

    https://www.reclaimedreflections.co.uk

And see if that sorts it out. If it doesn’t or makes it worse, just start from scratch with a new database (since that’s a brand new installation).

Also save yourself some effort down the road; that’s a 3.2.1 installation. Start with 3.3.1 instead which is the current version.

    Jan & Rockt204,

Thanks for your input. I have reinstalled but still no joy.
Also, when logging into my host, I can’t log on to the WordPress admin, upload new theme or do anything really. What you see when you click the link is what I see even through the host control panel (123-reg UK)
Im not sure how to reset the url’s or how to change the database…

Thanks again and any further help would be much appreciated.

Also…. how do I change the theme if I can’t log on?
I take it to change the theme, I must log on to the dashboard? I haven’t even seen the dashboard yet!

Loud crying sounds will soon be irritating my neighbours ….

As you’ve found out, just re-installing the software won’t do it. The settings are in your database.

If there is nothing in that database you want to keep then you can use phpMyAdmin to drop the tables in your database.

Check with your host and see if they offer phpMyAdmin access. It’s really easy to use if you can access it that way.

Not true. Login with FTP and rename the theme’s folder in wp-content/themes

Thank you all ….the host put it right with no explanation I’m afraid so I can’t pass on the information.

    Cheers !!
