New issue with “View Product” with WooCommerce 4.9

I have an issue that’s driving me crazy ever since I updated WooCommerce to v. 4.9. When I am editing a Product and click View Product, sometimes it opens the preview of the product page in a new tab, which is what I am used to. Other times, a pop up appears asking if I’m sure I want to Leave Product Page. Then I have to click okay. It’s just one more step. Moreover, perhaps because I use a dual monitor setup, sometimes I can’t see the pop up, but it prevents me from editing the page until it is responded to, so I’m trying to highlight and delete text from a description, for example, and it is as if the keyboard is frozen. Is this a bug or something intentional? And if it’s intentional, how can I turn it off? It’s really interfering with smooth editing of my product pages.
