New lines creates below gallery

I am having the same issue as well. I edit the posts more than once because of getting the html code perfected and each time I do creates another space.

Could you please try the following solution? Edit the gallery page and switch the editor to Text mode. Check if there are nbsp; characters and remove them.

After pressing Update, the page should not contain the spaces below the galleries.

I’m also having the same issue as wmaclean. There are some large gaps between galleries on our site. There is nothing in the text mode to indicate spaces, yet they remain. Any updates?

We haven’t had a chance to have a look at the issue with nbsp;‘s, unfortunately. Could you please post the link to the page where you’ve published your gallery?

The issue might also occur because of large paddings/margins, not necessarily the nbsp;‘s. We’ll check that as soon as you share the gallery link.

Please try to add the following CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS option:

.bwg_container {
    min-height: inherit !important;
}

It should remove the space below the thumbnails. Make sure to clear the cache of your web browser before checking the changes.
