new link area always greyed out when it pops up

  • whenever i click on the new link/edit link button in the post editor, it now comes up all greyed out and is not editable. any fixes. it is happening on all my wordpress installed blogs.

    ##seems to only do this while trying to edit in safari. firefox works, but so did safari the last time i was working on my blog.###

    any help would be appreciated.
