New links inserted on my pages are replicated at the page top

  • Greetings WP members,
    Recently over the last few weeks I have noticed that any new link I insert on a page is automatically being replicated (repeated) at the top of the page… at the page title
    ( BELOW the sliding images and NOTHING to do with the menu).

    the page link I have inserted is an good example (highlighted in red).
    I have not added any new plugins.

    Because I cannot account for any changes I’ve done, my assumption (?) is that there may be an anomaly in the WP program – this issue has only been noticeable over the last few weeks….
