New media images not displaying

    I uploaded a new image to my media library and when I try to use that image as my feature image for my post, the broken image icon appears on the post’s page and everywhere the post displays, as well as in my WP Dashboard. In fact, all new images uploaded to my media library don’t display when I try to use them as a feature image. However, when I use previously uploaded images in my media libary for this post and any new post, they display as my feature image.

    Also, the images don’t display when incorporated into the post’s text.

    The bottom picture of the camerag and map is an old upload and it displays.

    This morning I changed the IP address in the A-record of my website to connect to my Mailchimp account. Could changing the IP address impact image loading? Otherwise, my plugins, PHP, and WP version are up to date.

    I figured it out. It was because I changed my IP address to connect to Mailchimp. The DNS code was slowly propogating itself and the first things to go were my pictures.
